Chris de Hoog is a graphic designer turned painter from Geelong, Victoria. He got his Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) from RMIT University in 2010. After working for 5 years in the industry, he started his own graphic design company in 2016.
Chris started painting prolifically in 2018, in preparation for a solo exhibition at Analogue Academy in Geelong. He loves the possibilities that painting creates, the different colour combinations that can be found in nature and in the imagination. He is inspired by the natural landscape, with all of its intricate details, which point to a master designer. Chris paints most days of the week, alongside the running of his graphic design business and helping raise 4 kids alongside his wife, Amie.
